Jag st\u00f6tte p\u00e5 denna bok av en slump p\u00e5 Goodreads och fastnade direkt f\u00f6r omslaget (hur m\u00e5nga av oss g\u00f6r inte det). Handlingen l\u00e4t intressant, en geeky re-telling av Cinderella! Kapitlen \u00e4r delade s\u00e5 att vartannat kapitel handlar om Elle och de andra om Damien. Jag tyckte Damiens kapitel var lite segare och skulle n\u00e4stan hellre l\u00e4st fr\u00e5n bara Elles perspektiv, men det var intressant att se hur de l\u00e4rde k\u00e4nna varandra. Storyn \u00e4r en aning osannolik, ja, men den var s\u00e5 mysig. Den beskriver fandom och hela den biten s\u00e5 bra, vilken sammanh\u00e5llning personer kan f\u00e5. <\/div>\n

M\u00e5nga re-tellings p\u00e5 sistone har varit lite fantasybetonade, jag gillar att denna var ”p\u00e5riktigt” utan \u00f6vernaturliga inslag. Man kunde dra kopplingar till Cinderella, men inte s\u00e5 mycket att det k\u00e4ndes konstigt eller p\u00e5tvingat, storyn var \u00e4nd\u00e5 s\u00e5pass mycket \u00e4ndrad. Det fanns m\u00e5nga n\u00f6rdiga referenser till t.ex. Lord of the rings, vilket ocks\u00e5 var ett plus f\u00f6r mig. Tyckte mycket om Elles karakt\u00e4r och flera andra mindre karakt\u00e4rer som Sage, fr\u00e5n Magic Pumpkin food truck. Jag blev alltid lite hungrig n\u00e4r jag l\u00e4ste om maten, haha! En lite annorlunda bok, \u00e5tminstone min f\u00f6rsta som handlar om en con, l\u00e4sv\u00e4rd f\u00f6r alla geeks out there!<\/div>\n
