Jag har en liten k\u00e4rlek till den amerikanska cozy mystery-genren och vill alltid hitta en ny bra serie att f\u00f6lja. Tidigare har jag l\u00e4st n\u00e5gra b\u00f6cker ur en serie som heter A hanuted vintage mystery som handlade om vintage-kl\u00e4der och sp\u00f6ken. Den var mysig, men ville prova p\u00e5 n\u00e5got nytt.<\/div>\n

I Pall in the Family m\u00f6ter vi en f\u00f6redetta polis, Clyde, som flyttar hem till sin gamla hemstad, Crystal Haven, f\u00f6r att ta en paus fr\u00e5n jobbet (efter en tr\u00e5kig omst\u00e4ndighet). Clyde jobbar med att g\u00e5 ut med m\u00e4nniskors hundar, n\u00e5got som orsakade n\u00e5gra \u00f6gonbrynslyft. En polis som \u00e4r dogwalker? Clyde \u00e4r n\u00f6jd med sin tillvaro, \u00e4nda tills hon och systersonen st\u00f6ter p\u00e5 ett lik hemma hos en av kunderna. Bit f\u00f6r bit nystas mysteriet upp, samtidigt som man f\u00e5r l\u00e4ra k\u00e4nna Clydes familj och den ”spirituella” staden d\u00e4r m\u00e5nga livn\u00e4r sig p\u00e5 att vara siare, h\u00e5lla seanser, \u00e4gna sig \u00e5t Wicca etc.<\/div>\n

Mysteriet var ganska enkelt och det blev en aning l\u00e5ngtr\u00e5kigt ibland. Vissa karkat\u00e4rer k\u00e4nns fr\u00e4mmande, medan andra l\u00e4rde man k\u00e4nna v\u00e4l. Jag gillade Clydes moster Vi b\u00e4st (som ”kan” tala med djur, Clyde \u00e4r inte alltid helt \u00f6vertygad). Jag tyckte \u00e4nd\u00e5 att l\u00e4sningen \u00f6verlag var helt okej och funderade om boken skulle bli en fyra eller trea i betyg. Det blir en mycket stark trea. Det var ganska mycket feel-good \u00f6ver det hela, n\u00e5got som piggade upp en! Jag kommer att l\u00e4sa n\u00e4sta del.<\/div>\n
