Istvillingar som jag l\u00e4ste f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret var en av mina absoluta favoritb\u00f6cker, en s\u00e5n som man str\u00e4ckl\u00e4ser och inte kan l\u00e4gga ifr\u00e5n sig. D\u00e4rav blev jag lycklig \u00f6ver f\u00f6rfattaren gett ut en ny bok i samma stil som den f\u00f6rra. The Fire Child utspelar sig i ett enormt hus i Cornwall med huvudkarakt\u00e4ren Rachel i fokus. Rachel levde ett mycket enkelt liv i London tills hon tr\u00e4ffade David, som \u00e4r mycket rik men lite komplicerad. Han har en son fr\u00e5n tidigare, Jamie, som Rachel kommer bra \u00f6verrens med. Eller?<\/div>\n

Boken har alla r\u00e4tta element, de som jag \u00e4ven \u00e4lskade i f\u00f6rra boken. Gammalt, stort hus vid havet (lite k\u00e4nsla av slott snarare), en mystisk familj och m\u00e4rkliga h\u00e4ndelser. Som l\u00e4sare har man inte koll p\u00e5 vad som \u00e4r inbillat, \u00f6vernaturligt eller om det ens h\u00e4nt. Boken ger l\u00e4saren ”the creeps”, definitivt, men uppl\u00f6sningen var inte n\u00e4ra p\u00e5 bra som den borde. Jag blev rentav lite besviken. Det byggdes upp mycket som i efterhand inte ens f\u00f6rklarades ordentligt. Dock \u00e4lskar jag f\u00f6rfattarens s\u00e4tt att skriva, s\u00e5 fler b\u00f6cker t\u00e4nker jag l\u00e4sa om det utkommer!<\/div>\n
