Den nuvarande drottningen har ocks\u00e5 blivit vald via The Selection, som g\u00e5r ut p\u00e5 att prinsen ska hitta en l\u00e4mplig och vacker fru. America Singer och 34 andra flickor blir valda att f\u00e5 \u00e5ka till slottet och t\u00e4vla om prinsen Maxons hj\u00e4rta. Flickorna blir behandlade som k\u00e4ndisar av folket och t\u00e4vlingen kan f\u00f6ljas med p\u00e5 TV. Det \u00e4r vackra kl\u00e4nningar, uts\u00f6kt mat, glitter och glamour. Huvudkarakt\u00e4ren America Singers hj\u00e4rta tillh\u00f6r dock Aspen, en fattigare kille hon tr\u00e4ffat i smyg f\u00f6re hon blev vald att delta. Familjerna till flickorna som deltar f\u00e5r en summa pengar varje vecka, n\u00e5got som Americas familj \u00e4r i stort behov av. Jag tyckte massor om denna bok. Det var r\u00e4tt st\u00e4mning i den. Och s\u00e5 \u00e4r jag en sucker f\u00f6r prinsessteman, det \u00e4r s\u00e5 roligt att l\u00e4sa om. Men jag skulle vilja veta s\u00e5 mycket mer om hur deras samh\u00e4lle fungerar, eftersom alla har olika ”castes” och d\u00e4rmed olika yrken, r\u00e4ttigheter osv. Jag hoppas man i senare b\u00f6ckerna f\u00e5r veta lite mera om det. \u00c4ven sp\u00e4nningsfaktorn skulle kunnat vridas p\u00e5 ytterligare! Omslaget \u00e4r superfint, verkligen lyckat. Kommer att l\u00e4sa hela serien.<\/div>\n
